Virtual classrooms stay open even in worst weather

Virtual classrooms stay open even in worst weather. Even with the latest snow days shcools kept their classes going.

Blogs, podcasts and other tech tools are helping keep local kids "virtually" in class despite interruptions like recent snow days.

For instance, while ice was on the ground earlier this month, various Internet classes went on at Mary Institute St. Louis Country Day School in Ladue, even though the campus was closed.

Carla Federman, an Upper School history teacher, held an exam review session online for her AP U.S. history class.
